This week's Girl Talk Thursday topic is all about hair! And seriously, I know a lot about this topic. I have gone pixie-cut short (pun intended) and long. I have been a platinum blonde, neon yellow (yes really, Manic Panic neon-friggin-yellow), hot pink, black, brown, red, and everything in between. In the last few years or so, I have settled in as a redhead and feel quite comfortable that way. The only time I have gone natural in the past few years is when I was pregnant with my two daughters and both times, my pregnancy-hormones told me to go super-duper short like my style icon, Mia Farrow a-la "Rosemary's Baby". Is this not the cutest haircut ever? I think so...

I am currently wearing my hair shoulder-length, heavily layered, with long bangs. But its interesting to see the transformation of my hair in the last few years. Here's a little virtual tour:
Fall 2005, just after the birth of my first daughter:

October 2007:
May 2008 and pregnant with my youngest:
June 2008 and minutes after my 2nd daughter was born:

Christmas 2008:

April 2009:

Halloween 2009, don't worry, it's a wig:
February 2010, enjoying the greatest meal of my life:
I am currently growing my hair out (again) until the next time I decide I'm going to chop it all off.
What's your hair history?

I've done the same things with my hair (but not yellow). I even did a whole video about my hair a while back.
You are just too cute for words!
I could probably tell a story with all of my hair cuts over the years. I have never ventured into the hair color thing though. I have really dark hair and am scared of losing it! lol Great pics!!
I love that you're not afraid to try new things with your hair! I am not that daring. Though I did love to dabble in the Manic Panic back in the day.
The red in the October 2007 picture looks amazing. Pretty much they ALL look amazing. You're my hair hero.
My hair was the same, long and strait with no bangs& parted on the right side, for the last 11 years! Until now :) Shoulder length with layers and long bangs. It has texture, swing, and a bit of attitude. I love it. JS
