A Slippin' & A Sliden...

So yeah, I haven't blogged in awhile. It's not that I haven't been inspired to write lately; I very much have. In fact, I have begun journaling again for the first time in years. The truth is, I'm in a very transitory place in my life at the moment. I don't really feel ready to divulge some of the transitions to the information superhighway quite yet, but I can say I'm currently working more hours than I have in years. So many that I actually consider myself to be technically "Part-time Employed". I now check that box. And interestingly enough, it was the best thing I could've done to enhance my life as a stay-at-home Mom. Anywhoo, I won't bore yoou with the details of all that's gone on with me in my life recently, but suffice it to say, I've spent a lot of time doing stuff like this and I can honestly say, I've never, ever been happier.

A love letter

My 4-yr-old LOVES to draw. You can find crayons in every corner of our house. I carry crayons in my purse in case of emergency. We have gone through reams of computer paper with her priceless artwork. She draws pictures for friends, family members, everybody. The kid loves to draw. It's her pleashaa...

When I got home from work last night, as usual, another original piece of art was waiting for me. Hubs held back his giggles as he handed me the "bookmark" that my daughter so thoughfully crafted for me. This time, she apparently was "inspired" by copying some things she saw around the house. But in her eyes, she was writing a love-letter to her Mommy.
